Recommend for strolling

Spacious room, good breakfast, with a lovely view of the square and accommodating staff who supported my dietary needs.

Everything was flawless.

Hotel was no better than a cheap motel.Lino floors in the hallways.Stairway carpets were stained with god knows what.The lobby(if that's what you call it)smelled of old stale food.Disregard the hotel pictures.Just awfull.Do not stay at this hotel.

It was the most expensive hotel we used on our trip had no facilities ie bar, dining room or lounge.the rooms are small and in need of renovation.

A clean, cheap option well located in the centre of Pau

The staff were helpful, quickly offering a map and recommendations for local attractions. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with a lovely selection of pastries and fresh juices, perfect to start the day!

Bathroom needs updating.

manager was excellent - spoke english which was very helpful for us. we had a room with a great view out over the square.

The man on reception was an excellent ambassador for the hotel. He was very friendly & helpful.

We stayed at Le Bourbon on one of the warmest days of the summer and the aircon failed. The receptionist offered to move us but we stuck with our room as we were only staying one night. I wish we hadn't as, apart from being hot due to the aircon problem, our room overlooked the square which was noisy with revellers until 4 in the morning.

Guestroom decor felt decades old. The carpet in the bathroom required shoes to enter. Noise from the central square persisted until early morning.

Great location, very central for shops and sightseeing. Room smallish but comfortable. Would be good to provide exta tv channels and a kettle.

Bathroom was definitely small, and shower fitting needed fixing.

The room layout with the bed area separated from the bathroom/sitting area. Good wifi access. Excellent breakfast. Re question below I did not look at guest reviews - these are never much help

Helpful staff, and the room was clean and had a charming view of the square. Convenient access to a secure parking area was appreciated, though it comes at an additional cost. Some minor updates in the room could enhance the experience further, and noise from the lively square was noticeable at times, which could disrupt sleeping. A solid option for those who value location and service.
